| Milwaukee polishers are well known for their reliability in body shops all over the country. The major difference in the two models shown below is their maximum RPM. The 5460-6 features the maximum of 1750 RPM that has been the industry standard for years. The 5540 features a maximum RPM of 2800 designed for use with high speed liquid polishes, a 2800 RPM polisher can and will burn a regular clear coat polish. Inexperienced operators are highly advised to use the 5460-6.
